Situated in the prestigious area of Chigwell, Essex, this project introduces a masterfully planned outdoor suite. By combining a professional outdoor kitchen, a structural pergola, and a high-spec hot tub, we have elevated this garden to new heights of luxury and relaxation. The design focuses on creating a seamless flow between active cooking areas and tranquil wellness zones, ensuring the garden is the primary destination for both hosting and unwinding.
For this project, we meticulously designed a designated area for a high-performance outdoor kitchen. This culinary hub is sheltered by a spacious, modern aluminium pergola, which provides essential protection from the elements while defining the room. The kitchen is equipped with a world-class appliance package to satisfy any gourmet chef. It features the iconic Big Green Egg for charcoal smoking and roasting, a Beefeater side burner for versatile stovetop cooking, and a dedicated single fridge for cold storage. To complete the experience, we integrated an Alfa Pizza Oven, allowing for authentic wood-fired dining right in the heart of Essex.
The layout was carefully zoned to balance the energy of the cooking area with a sense of calm. Adjacent to the kitchen, we created a cosy sitting area perfect for pre-dinner drinks. Positioned in the middle of this social space is a tranquil water feature, which adds a soothing auditory element to the garden and acts as a natural focal point.
Directly across from the lounge area, the Hydropool hot tub awaits. This strategic placement allows residents to unwind in the water while remaining part of the social conversation. The surrounding landscaping and the architectural lines of the pergola work together to create a private, serene atmosphere. This project stands as a perfect example of how a multi-functional garden can provide a complete resort-style experience at home.
