Nestled within the serene and leafy surroundings of Greenhill Gardens, Barnet, this project showcases the creation of a high-end outdoor kitchen. Our design objective was to redefine the al fresco dining experience by blending modern culinary convenience with the natural beauty of the local environment. We focused on creating a structure that felt permanent, professional, and perfectly suited for hosting large groups.
For this project, we meticulously crafted a bespoke outdoor kitchen using an L-shape configuration. This layout is highly effective for outdoor spaces as it creates a natural boundary for the cooking zone while offering significant worktop real estate. The kitchen features an array of professional-grade appliances, including the powerful Beefeater Proline grill for precision searing and a world-class Alfa Pizza Oven for authentic wood-fired meals. To handle refreshments for large parties, we integrated a Blastcool double fridge, which is specifically engineered to maintain ice-cold temperatures even in high summer heat.
Functionality extends beyond just cooking in this design. We ensured the layout included ample storage cabinets to keep the workspace tidy and organized. At one end of the L-shape, we extended the worktop to create a dedicated bar and dining area. This allows guests to sit at the heart of the action, interacting with the chef while enjoying drinks. It transforms the kitchen from a simple cooking station into a versatile social hub. This project stands as a testament to how bespoke design can turn a garden into a true extension of the home’s living and dining quarters.
